VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Public Works completed snow removal in business and school districts Wednesday morning and will begin a second round at 12 a.m. Thursday until finished. Please clear all sidewalks by 12 a.m. tonight and remove all vehicles from downtown streets, avenues, and alleyways.

Snow removal in the NW part of town will continue through Wednesday. Residential routes will resume after the second round in business and school districts, with expected completion by 12 p.m. Thursday. Parking lot snow piles will be removed on Friday.

This schedule may change due to weather, snow totals, and drifting.

Property owners must clear sidewalks within 48 hours after snowfall ends. If not, Public Works may remove the snow and assess the cost to the property (V.C.M.C. 7.1-01-05). Blowing or pushing snow into streets or alleys may result in citations and/or costs (V.C.M.C. 7.1-01-04).
