JAMESTOWN – Chad Weber is the new head coach of Jamestown Eagles Legion Baseball.

Weber has coached in various levels of Jamestown Area Youth Baseball over the last few years.

Formerly, Weber was a manager and board president for Legion baseball in Alaska while he ran a software consulting firm.

In a press release, Weber said, “Jamestown has a strong baseball community and I’m excited about the effort the JAYBAL board and community donors have put in to help with the upgrade of our facilities.  The result of these efforts must be met by the players and I look forward to helping our players continue to grow, compete and represent this program with pride.”

Weber replaces Sam Joseph, who stepped down after seven seasons.
