MANDAN – Jamestown Blue Jays wrestling had a split result Thursday at Starion Bank Gymnasium, with the Blue Jays girls edging Mandan 37-36 before the Braves boys defeated the Blue Jays 53-19.

Girls: Jamestown 37, Mandan 36
The dual actually ended tied at 36-36, but the Blue Jays earned a bonus point due to fewer forfeits.

In the only Jamestown victory in a contested match, 136-pound wrestler Mackenzie Stoddart pinned Mandan’s Gemma Viloria in 1:12.
