
Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—The Carrington boys wrestling team finished in sixth place overall and had 8 placers at the 2025 Al Larson Invitational Tournament. Twenty-one teams competed in the tournament with Bismarck Legacy taking home the team title with 207 points. Lisbon finished second with 184.5 points followed by Minot (173.5), Velva (161), Mandan (142.5), Carrington (121.5), Pembina County North (95), Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter (88.5), Watford City (83), and Harvey-Wells County (47).
Carrington had 8 wrestlers place with Gabe Inglish (107) and Skye Kramlich (127) both reaching the championship match but came up short with runner-up performances. Inglish was seeded second and won 3 matches (2 by pin) and a 9-7 semifinal decision to reach the title match. Inglish lost the title match to Brahnan Heidt (Bismarck Legacy) by technical fall in the second period. Kramlich was seeded third and won 3 matches (2 by pin) to reach the finals. Kramlich defeated the number 2 seed Josh Ternes (Beulah-Hazen) 5-4 in the semifinals before falling to top seeded Noah Anderson of Lisbon 4-0 in the title match. Landin Clifton (107) and Mason Cook (114) both finished in third place. Nicholas Garber (152) and Gabe Clifton (160) finished in 4th place. Kallen Wolsky (145) finished 5th and Charlie Jorgenson (HWT) finished 8th. The Cards will be at home on Thursday night to host the Lisbon Broncos in a boys/girls dual doubleheader.
