HAZEN – Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Hockey earned their second shutout in as many days Saturday, defeating Hazen-Beulah 7-0 at North Stars Arena.

For the second straight game, Brady Anderson scored twice.  Bennett Goehner also put in two goals.  Braxton Burkett had a goal and three assists.

Leif Hanson made 26 saves for his second shutout in a row and fourth as a Blue Jay.

Goehner scored his first for Jamestown (3-2-0-0, 3-1-0-0 WDA) 3:05 into the first period, assisted by Ethan Oettle.

Anderson gave Jamestown a 2-0 lead at 4:45 with assists by Cole Bullinger and Burkett.

Burkett fed Brady Nenow for a 3-0 JHS advantage at 9:33 of the opening period.

Jamestown led 4-0 after one after Burkett scored with a Max Whitman assist at 14:28.

Bullinger had the only Blue Jay tally of the second period, a power play goal from Ayden Ness and Nenow at 14:59.

Goehner scored shorthanded 2:46 into the third period for a six-goal Jamestown lead.

Anderson ended the scoring at 10:26, assisted by Ness.
