VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com)  LaMoure/Litchville-Marion rallied for a second night to win the Barnes County Tournament title.

The Loboes held Valley City at the break, but held the Hi-Liners to just five second-half field goals to rally for a 51-46 win over Class A’s defending champion and top-ranked team.

L/L-M trailled by five the previous night before upendong Maple River to advance to the title tilt.

Addy Smith les the Loboes with 19 points.   Nora DeLaBare added 12.

Dacota Potratz led Valley City with 13.

Smith, DeLaBarre and Onika Lesko were named to the All-Tournament team.  Potratz, along with Maddy Frieze, Skype Nielson, and Katie Burchill were selected for the Hi-Liners.

Violet Richman and Abigail Killotan were selected for All-Tourney honors for Maple River, who defeated Northern Cass for third place 57-44.
