
FARGO – Jamestown Jimmies Track & Field had seven top-10 finishes in the NDSU Alumni Classic, which concluded Friday at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility.
Monica Goven was ninth for the Jimmie women in the triple jump at 10.12 meters (33 feet, 2 and a half inches). Sydney Ulrich was 10th in the long jump, clearing 4.90 meters (16 feet, 1 inch).
For the UJ men, Ashton Judge placed fourth in the long jump, leaping 6.70 meters (21 feet, 11 and 3/4 inches). Andrew Rexin ran fifth in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.72 seconds. Jayden Bittner placed fifth in the triple jump at 12.59 meters (41 feet, 3 and 3/4 inches). Brady Crabtree cleared 4.22 meters (13 feet, 10 inches) to finish sixth in the pole vault. Evan Schmit was 10th in the shot put at 14.58 meters (17 feet, 10 inches).
Next for the Jimmie teams will be a dual with Northern State on January 15 in Aberdeen.
