WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Lites dance team traveled to West Fargo High School on Saturday, December 13, to compete in Jazz, High Kick, and Hip Hop during a full-day competition. In addition to team routines, the Hi-Lites’ three seniors represented Valley City in the solo division.

The Hi-Lites earned third-place finishes in both High Kick and Hip Hop, along with a fourth-place finish in Jazz. Senior soloist Hailley Grenz also had a strong showing, bringing home a third-place finish in the solo division.

The Hi-Lites will wrap up the first half of their season with a trip to Bismarck Legacy for their final competition before Christmas break. They will return to competition in the new year when they travel to Jamestown on January 10.
