FARGO – Hudson Hofer scored two goals Tuesday as Davies defeated Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Hockey 5-1 at Farmers Union Insurance Center.

Ellery Wilcox had a goal and an assist for Davies (1-1-2-0, 1-1-2-0 League), and her goal had the Eagles up 1-0 after one period.

Hofer and Jasmine Deibert tallied in the second period for Davies, with Deibert’s goal on the power play.

Anika Astrup scored 40 seconds into the third period for a 4-0 Davies lead.  Only 42 seconds later for Jamestown (0-4-0-1, 0-4-0-0), Maci Fisher scored her first of the season shorthanded, assisted by Layni Bakalar.

Hofer scored again for Davies on the power play with 2:10 left to finish the scoring.

Davies had a 37-24 shot advantage.  Blue Jay goalie Ady Bakalar made 32 saves.
