As part of this new service line, patient consultations, care coordination and post-procedure follow-up will be guided by wound care provider Asia Hamlin, NP, providing patients with a consistent and personalized care experience from evaluation through recovery.
“This is another example of how JRMC continues to grow services locally while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience,” said JRMC Specialty Clinics Leader Mercede Fiebiger. “By combining advanced technology, specialized provider expertise and the continuity of care that Asia will provide, we’re able to offer effective treatment with a personal, community-focused approach.”
Patients seeking vein care will begin with a consultation appointment with nurse practitioner Asia Hamlin, who will evaluate symptoms, review medical history and coordinate diagnostic imaging. If treatment is recommended, procedures are performed by Dr. Reddy, with ongoing follow-up care and recovery support managed by Hamlin in the JRMC Specialty Clinic to ensure continuity and patient comfort throughout the process.
About the treatments:
-
ClosureFast procedure – this minimally invasive treatment uses radiofrequency energy to gently heat and close diseased veins, rerouting blood flow to healthy vessels. Most patients experience limited discomfort, minimal scarring and faster recovery compared to more invasive surgical approaches.
-
VenaSeal closure system – unlike thermal therapies, VenaSeal uses a proprietary medical adhesive to seal diseased veins. The nonthermal approach eliminates the need for multiple anesthesia needle sticks and often allows patients to resume normal activities very quickly after treatment. It has demonstrated strong long-term vein closure rates.
These services benefit patients experiencing symptoms such as leg heaviness, aching, swelling, skin changes or visible bulging veins — common signs of superficial venous disease. Early intervention can improve quality of life and prevent progression of symptoms.
