VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Superintendent Josh Johnson said we are excited to announce that Amanda Nielson, Registered Nurse with Essentia Health will be rejoining our school district as a part-time school nurse at the beginning of January.  Amanda has previously served in this role in our school district in past school years.  She provides awesome skills, knowledge, and care for our students in this position.

He said this part-time position will include Amanda being at our three schools 1-2 hours per day through the end of the school year.  If you have any school nursing related questions or immediate student needs, please contact our school offices.

Johnson said thanks to Essentia Health for their partnership with our school district and support of our student’s health and wellness. Essentia Health has been a premier partner of VCPS since 2018, providing supportive student services within athletic training, virtual telehealth, behavior health, and others.
