They can’t yet be knocked off.
Minot’s girls and Century’s boys, for the fourth straight time in as many surveys this season, lead the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association AA basketball polls, released Monday.
The Majettes are 4-0, but just escaped with a three-point home win over Bismarck on Friday. Still, Minot is averaging 78.5 points per game. They received 15 of the 18 first-place votes, with second-ranked Century taking the other three.
For the Patriot boys, there was no such trouble in their games last week. They scored 111 in a win at Jamestown, then 95 in a home romp over Williston. Century was number one on all 17 ballots.
