BURNSVILLE, MN – For the second straight week, Jamestown Jimmies senior guard Anthony Walters is the NSIC North Division Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

In the Jimmies’ road wins over Minnesota Crookston and MSU Moorhead, Walters averaged 25.5 points, shot 59 percent (19-of-32) from the field and hit nine of 15 three-pointers.

Walters scored 22 with eight rebounds in UJ’s come-from-behind 79-71 win at UMC, then had 29 on 10-of-16 shooting in Jamestown’s 93-83 win at MSUM.

Walters’ average of 19.8 points per game is sixth in the NSIC.  He now has 1,500 career points in college basketball, counting his season and a half at Jamestown, a season at Frank Phillips College and one at Queensborough Community College.
