
VALLEY CITY, ND (Ryan Cunningham, NewsDakota.com) Dakota Wesleyan avenged an earlier season loss at the hands of the Vikings, defeating Valley City State at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse in Valley City 65-59 Saturday.
A 14-4 run to finish the game led the Tigers to the victory, a run sparked by two late three-point shots, one that had a foul tacked on to it.
J. R. Cison and Taylor Bryant-Frey co-led the Vikings with 12 points, with Kaleb Larson adding 10. Logan Deal and Alex Lester each pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Vikings are now off until January 2nd.
