
DICKINSON – Two goals in the second period by Grace Allmaras gave Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Hockey the lead for good on Saturday in a 5-3 win over Dickinson at West River Ice Center.
Izzy Maddock set up both of those goals and had a goal and three assists for the Blue Jays (3-5-0-1, 3-5-0-0 League) in their third win in the last four games.
Maddock scored a power play goal in the first period for JHS before Gabi Sobolik, also on the power play, evened the game for Dickinson (2-7-1-0, 1-7-1-0).
Anna Lunde and Maci Fisher scored third period goals to extend the Blue Jay lead to 5-1 before Mya Hilton and Kyndall Peterson (power play) lit the lamp later in the period for the Mavericks.
Next for Jamestown is Fargo North/South on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Wilson Arena.
