VALLEY CITY, N.D. (BCSO) – The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a sex offender, Robert Venker, Jr.; also known as Robert Venker is living at 402 Out St., Wimbledon, ND. Venker Jr. was assessed as a HIGH-RISK offender by the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee. Venker Jr. is a lifetime registrant.

Venker Jr. was born in 1969, is a white male, and is 5’08 tall, 260 pounds, brown eyes, gray hair. Venker Jr. was convicted in Williams County, ND District Court in 2016 of 2 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, indecent exposure, and felonious restraint. When a 14-year-old female was walking home from a friend’s house, she encountered Venker Jr. who exposed himself and asked “If she wanted some of this”. When the girl told him “NO”, Venker Jr. grabbed her in the middle of the street, covered her mouth and forced her to the ground in a driveway. Venker Jr. pulled off the victims clothing and masturbated while rubbing the victim’s chest and bottom with his penis. Venker Jr. digitally penetrated the victim, then ran away from the incident.

Venker Jr. was convicted of 3 rd degree sex offense in Baltimore, Maryland District Court in 1995. When Venker Jr. was 24 years old, he physically and sexually assaulted two 13-year-old females.

Venker Jr. is not wanted by law enforcement at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. Any use of this information to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender will result in prosecution.
