DEVILS LAKE (NewsDakota)- The Carrington boys basketball team scored a combined 7 points in the second and third quarters that paved the way for a Larimore win 56-35 in the Ramsey County Tournament quarterfinal. The Polar Bears (3-3) built a 25 point lead late in the game 56-31 and were paced by Dyllan Rethemeier game high 15 points.

The Devils Lake Sports Center court was not friendly for the Cards as they struggled offensively throughout the game.  Taylen Mehring paced the offense with 11 points and Alec Threadgold added 9 points.

The Cards dropped to 1-5 overall and will play Warwick in the consolation semifinal tomorrow with coverage on KDAK The Cardinal beginning at around 4:15pm.
