
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JPR) – Jamestown Parks and Recreation announces a public community meeting to receive comments regarding the potential sale of several park-related properties within the City of Jamestown. The meeting is intended to inform the public, outline the properties under consideration, and provide an opportunity for residents to share feedback before any decisions are made.
Jamestown Parks and Recreation is considering the sale of park property at the following locations:
Little Meidinger Park, consisting of: Lots 18–21, Replat of Block 1, Meidinger Second Addition, Lot 8, Block 5, Meidinger Fourth Addition, A metes and bounds parcel measuring approximately 108.6 feet by 120 feet located within Lot 9, Replat of Block 1, Block 1, Meidinger Second Addition to the City of Jamestown Feton Park, consisting of: Outlots 1–3, less the east 14 feet and less the south 60 feet of Outlot 3, Conklin’s Addition to the City of Jamestown Administrative Building Property, consisting of: Lots 5–7 and the north half of Lot 8, plus vacated alley, Block 4, Curtin’s Second Addition to the City of Jamestown.
A community meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on February 9, 2026, to receive comments from community members. The meeting will take place at The Bunker, located at 1520 3rd Street SE, Jamestown. No formal action will be taken at the meeting. The purpose of the session is to ensure transparency, provide information, and gather public input as part of the evaluation process. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
Written comments may also be submitted to Jamestown Parks and Recreation for those unable to attend in person.
