JAMESTOWN – Turtle Mountain swept Jamestown Blue Jays Wrestling on Thursday in WDA meets at Jerry Meyer Arena.
The Braves’ girls won all but one match in a 69-6 win over the Blue Jays. Jamestown’s boys lost to Turtle Mountain 40-30.
Mackenzie Stoddart had the one win for the Blue Jay girls. Stoddart, the 136-pound wrestler, pinned Kendra Azure.
The Jamestown boys had two forfeit wins, a decision win for Hunter Bell at 121 pounds, a pin by Cole Anderson at 127, and a decision victory for Eli Sankey at 215 pounds.
The Blue Jay boys will wrestle a WDA dual Friday against St. Mary’s in Bismarck. Jamestown’s girls will wrestle Saturday at the Lisbon Invitational.
