VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – MSB Dance Studios Competitive Dance Team along with the Dare to Care Foundation of the Arts is rolling out the red carpet or rather, the red *velvet* as it prepares to host an unforgettable 1920s-themed fundraising gala in support of its record number of Competitive Dancers.  Each $100 ticket admits two guests for a night full of activities. Guests are invited to step back in time for an evening inspired by the elegance, energy, and sparkle of the Roaring Twenties. From flapper dresses to dapper suits, attendees are encouraged to dress in their best 1920s attire as they enter a night filled with lively entertainment, delicious food, and opportunities to support the talented dancers of MSB.
Guests can expect an array of engaging activities from start to finish. The event kicks off with a social-hour wine tasting and cash bar, offering guests a chance to sip, savor, and mingle.  Themed photo booths will be available throughout the evening, giving attendees the perfect opportunity to capture memories of the glamorous night. For those eager to hit the dance floor, a group dance lesson will introduce fun steps and stylish moves, perfect for couples wanting to embrace the spirit of the era. The evening will also feature live performances, as members of the Competitive Dance Team showcase select pieces of their upcoming season. Dinner and dessert will be served, ensuring guests enjoy a full, delicious meal as part of the night’s experience. Additional attractions include a silent auction and paddle game giving supporters multiple ways to contribute to the dancers’ competitive journey.
All proceeds from the event will directly support the MSB Competitive Dance Team, helping dancers with travel expenses, costuming, training, and other competition-related needs. The fundraiser offers the community a chance to champion local youth while enjoying an extraordinary night out. Organizers say they wanted to create an evening will be “fun, memorable, and full of sparkle,” instead of selling you all the things you really don’t need.  They hope supporters will join them in celebrating the arts 1920s style on January 31, 2026 from 6-10 p.m. in the Valley City National Guard Armory.
With its combination of nostalgic charm and lively entertainment, this Roaring Twenties fundraiser promises to be a standout event. Guests are encouraged to secure their tickets early as they are limited and prepare for a night of glamour, food, dancing, and heartfelt community support.
