OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 24-year-old Moorhead, Minnesota man suffer serious injuries in a rollover crash in Dickey County on Wednesday, January 21st about 11:30pm.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol at approximately 11:28 p.m., a 2016 Ram 2500 was traveling eastbound on Highway 11. Near mile marker 94.5, the Ram left the roadway, entered the north ditch, and rolled.

The driver was seriously injured and transported by Oakes Ambulance to Oakes Hospital and then transported via Avera Careflight to Avera St. Luke’s in Aberdeen, South Dakota for treatment of his injuries. His condition has not been released.

According to the news release, the driver was not wearing a seat belt and DUI charges are pending against the driver

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
