
PARK, MO – Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Volleyball remained winless at the start of its 2026 season Friday with two losses.
At the Park Invitational at the Breckon Sports Center, Jamestown lost in four sets to Ottawa (KS), 22-25, 25-22, 28-26, 25-13. Governors State also won in four sets, 22-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.

After Jamestown (0-2) played three strong sets, Ottawa (1-0) played a dominant fourth set to take the match.
Petar Lazic had 12 kills, two aces and seven digs to lead the Braves. Marko Zolnjan and Macort Pickup notched 11 kills each.
Ethan Carroll had 11 kills for the Jimmies. Lucas Soeldner scored nine kills and five blocks. Brady Leppin-Christensen also had five blocks. Chase Hawkinson had six kills and four blocks. Rowan Shaughnessy had 23 set assists.
Soeldner had five kills in the first set as the Jimmmies hit .214 and outlasted the Braves.
Two tight wins for Ottawa followed in the second and third, then the Braves hit a blistering .435 in the fourth set.

Jamestown (0-3) had 53 kills to 50 for Governors State (3-1), but Jamestown had four more errors. That illustrates how close this match was.
Pablo Pascual had 11 kills for the Jaguars. Daniel Lopez and Diego Antunez each had 10.
Hawkinson scored 15 kills and three blocks for Jamestown. Soeldner had 11 kills. Ladarius Williams had 10 kills and 10 digs. Kaden Jenkins had 30 set assists.
Jamestown will play its final two matches in the Park Invitational Saturday against Goshen College and Reinhardt University.
