PARK, MO – After leading two sets to one, Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Volleyball lost that lead and the match Saturday to Goshen College 17-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-16, 15-10 at the Park University Invitational at the Breckon Sports Center.

Bruno Barac had 15 kills, four aces, five blocks and eight digs for Goshen (1-4).  Sawyer Frystak had 11 kills.

Chase Hawkinson paced Jamestown (0-4) with 20 kills (.293).  Lucas Soeldner scored nine kills.  Kaden Jenkins had 26 set assists and Jackson Holmes had 10 digs and three aces.

The Jimmies had 11 kills and hit .280 in winning the first set.  In taking set three, Jamestown hit .225 with 16 kills.

After the Maple Leafs evened the match, they had five kills, including three by Barac and two by Nash Morgan, to help close out the match.

The Jimmies will play their first home match of the season Saturday against Dordt University at 11:00 AM at Harold Newman Arena.
