VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public School District will be hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, February 4th, from 1:00pm – 7:00pm at each of the schools in the district. This will be an early dismissal school day with students being dismissed three hours earlier than a normal school day.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said if you are new to our school district or don’t remember the past schedules for early dismissal days, you can move everything up three hours (dismissal, busing drop-offs, etc.). We will be serving lunch on this day and busing will follow the regular routes/drop-offs. Please look for more school specific Parent-Teacher Conference information coming from the schools via email in the next week.
Johnson said we are always looking for ways to increase parent engagement with our schools, and this format was suggested in the past and also successful at other school districts across the state of North Dakota. He added, we will be curious to hear your feedback after February 4th before we make a decision about the date/times of PT Conferences in 2027. If you have any questions about this upcoming day, please don’t hesitate to contact our teachers, principals, schools, or our district offices.
