BURNSVILLE, MN – Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Tennis is set for its first season, and its chances are perceived to be decent.
At least, that’s what the NSIC women’s tennis coaches feel. The Jimmies were picked sixth of 11 teams in the preseason poll.
Augustana, which has won the last 15 regular season and tournament championships in the conference, was chosen first.
Under head coach Cam Jackson, the Jimmies are set to have their first-ever competitive match with Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday, February 7 at the Mandan Tennis Center before opening NSIC play against Augustana in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Friday, February 13.
