VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Simon Trapp is the Valley City Hi-Liner wrestler of the week, sponsored by The Window Man. Simon had an outstanding tournament January 23rd and 24th at the Lisbon Storhaug wrestling tournament. Simon entered the tournament as the #5 Seed in a loaded weight class that featured the #1 and #2 ranked wrestlers in Class A and the #2, #3, #5, #6 and #7 ranked wrestlers in Class B. Simon finished the tournament with a 5-1 record and a Third place finish. Simon defeated all Class B wrestlers he faced with his only loss coming in the Semi-Finals to Derick Jorissen, the top ranked wrestler in Class A. Simon is hitting his groove as we head to the postseason and is ready to finish the wrestling season chasing his goals! Simon is a student athlete for the Hi-Liners and is a member of the Valley City High School Honor Roll.
