ALBERT LEA, MN – Brad Fortin scored twice Saturday as Jamestown Jimmies ACHA D1 Men’s Hockey again skated past Waldorf 6-1 at the Albert Lea City Arena.  The Jimmies defeated the Warriors 8-1 on Friday.

Matthew McIntyre began the scoring for Jamestown (20-11-1-0) at 4:53 of the first period, assisted by James Hooton.

Carson Brown scored his 15th at 8:07 from Wyatt Johnson and Jordan Baranesky and UJ led 2-0 after one period.

Carter Johnson scored 1:26 into the second period and the Jimmies were up 3-0.  Hooton and McIntyre assisted.

Fortin scored on the power play at 16:44 of the second, set up by Raymond Warrack and Alex Erichuk.

Cale Anderson had the only Waldorf goal on the power play with 16 seconds left in the second period.

Fortin scored again for the Jimmies at 14:30 of the third from Warrack and Brown.  Darius Makse made the UJ lead 6-1 at 16:13 off a Marcus Fritel assist.

Jamestown dominated the game, with 61 shots to Waldorf’s 27.  Jordan Lott started in goal for UJ and stopped 26 shots.

The Jimmies will host Waldorf Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM at Wilson Arena.
