MANDAN – The Blue Jay boys hockey team can’t find a way to get the puck past Mandan goalie Cooper Anderson.
In January, Anderson shut out Jamestown 3-0 at Wilson Arena. On Tuesday night, the two teams met again in Mandan and Anderson duplicated his performance with another 3-0 victory.
The Braves got two goals from Liam Keller and one from Adam Walker.
The Jays outshot the Braves 27-25 but lost for the second time in the past three games.
Jamestown slipped to 10-5 overall and 9-4 in the West Region. Mandan improved to 10-7-1-2 overall and 9-3-1-2 in the west, and enhanced its chances at finishing at least third in the conference standings.
Jamestown will look to bounce back on Friday against Dickinson at Wilson Arena. Coverage will begin at around 7:15 PM on The Voice of the Blue Jays, Jamestown 107.1. Live and archived video will be available at the Jamestown 107.1 Sports YouTube Channel.
