
CASS COUNTY, N.D. (CCSO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Kindred Fire Department, the Davenport Fire Department, and Kindred Ambulance, responded to a report of a residential structure fire in rural Kindred, North Dakota on Monday, February 9th. The information relayed to first responders indicated that the homeowner’s detached garage was fully engulfed and that no one was inside the structure at the time of the call.
Fire personnel successfully contained the fire to the detached garage. The homeowner suffered minor burns as a result of the incident and was evaluated by Kindred Ambulance, but his injuries did not require transport to an area hospital. At the time of this release, no injuries were sustained to first responders.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Kindred Fire Department, will continue to investigate the incident. The Kindred Fire Department remains in control of the scene.
