JAMESTOWN – Now, the Minot Majettes can vouch for how confidently Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Basketball is playing lately.

The Blue Jays had a seven-point lead over the state’s top-ranked AA team on Tuesday before Minot bridged the end of the first half and the start of the second with a 31-4 run and held on for a 62-50 win over Jamestown at Jerry Meyer Arena.

Two-time Gatorade Player of the Year and Oklahoma commit Leelee Bell led Minot (17-0, 14-0 WDA) with 28 points and 11 rebounds.  Maggie Fricke scored 12 for the Majettes.
