FREMONT, NE – The nation’s top team again proved to be too much for Jamestown.

11th-ranked Jamestown Jimmies ACHA Division 1 Women’s Hockey fell to top-ranked Midland 6-0 Friday at the Sidner Ice Center.  Midland is 5-0-0-1 against Jamestown this season.

Jordan Bell scored in the first period for the Warriors (24-3-1-3).  Kennedy Wood, Callie Maguire and Darbi Poole scored in period two.  Ashlyn Kuffler and Kiara McGregor lit the lamp in the third.

Jamestown (8-14-1-1) was outshot 41-16.  Britlyn Rasmussen started and made 19 saves.  Lilah Drew stopped 16 shots.

The Jimmies and Warriors will clash again Saturday in Fremont.
