SIOUX FALLS, SD – After an historic first win Friday, Saturday was much different for Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Tennis.

A day after defeating Sioux Falls in the program’s first NSIC match, the Jimmies were swept 7-0 by 15-time defending conference champion Augustana at GREATLIFE Woodlake.

Julie and Bodil van Zeijl gave Jamestown (1-2, 1-1 NSIC) a good start by winning in the number one doubles flight.  Augustana (5-1, 3-0) won the remaining two doubles matches to take the doubles point, then won in all six flights in singles.

The Jimmies will play St. Cloud State on Saturday, February 21 in Sartell, Minnesota.
