JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Sales Inc. of Jamestown is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in its history. Following a recent move to a new location along I-94 in Jamestown west of Menards and east of Anne Carlson Center, the company is officially rebranding as BISON MACHINERY. The transition reflects both physical growth and a renewed commitment to the values that have guided the business for years.

The decision to rebrand came naturally as the company prepared for its relocation. Leadership saw the move not only as a change of address, but as an opportunity to better align the company’s name and identity with who they are and how they operate.

“We chose the name Bison Machinery because it says exactly who we are,” Jeff Romsdal, the company President, Owner shared. “The American Bison represents perseverance, strength, reliability, resilience, and a steady, hard-working nature — values that mirror how we approach our work and how we serve our customers.  The Bison is one of the fiercest and respected grass-eating animals in North America, which was once nearly extinct. It’s also one of the only animals that faces into the storm and actually heads into it to get to the other side. With the adversity we’ve been able to overcome while competing against the largest corporate dealerships in our trade area, I believe we also closely resemble what the Bison stands for.”

Much like the bison, the company prides itself on honesty, family, durability, consistency, and doing things the right way. Those traits have long been embedded in the company’s mission and business practices, and the new name brings that identity to the forefront. While the name and location have changed, customers can expect the same knowledgeable team, trusted service, and commitment to quality they’ve always known.

Bison Machinery looks forward to continuing to serve its customers and community with the same strong foundation now under a name that truly reflects its purpose.

Bison Machinery, Central Sales, Inc. is a Third generation, 50+ year-old dealership founded by John Romsdal. Second generation was led by Fran Romsdal, with brothers Bob and Stu. Now owned and operated by Jeff Romsdal. This announcement is made on Jeff’s son, Easton’s 21st birthday, (February 17th) who also designed the new Bison Machinery logo. Easton along with brother Vaughn, and sister Cecilia will hopefully someday continue the family business tradition.
