
JAMESTOWN – In their final two home matches of the regular season, Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Volleyball swept Central Christian Saturday at Harold Newman Arena. UJ won 25-19, 25-22, 25-14 in the first match and 25-22, 25-16, 25-12 in the second.

Chase Hawkinson led the attack for the Jimmies (4-10) with 12 kills. Ladarius Williams scored nine, served an ace and had six digs. Brady Leppien-Christensen had seven kills with two total blocks. Rowan Shaughnessy had 31 kills and nine digs.
The Jimmies hit .337 and had 42 kills to the Tigers’ 23.

Jamestown (5-10) hit even better in this match with a .380 percentage and a 41-20 kill advantage.
Hawkinson had 14 kills. Williams had nine kills, an ace, three blocks and six digs. Ethan Carroll had seven kills, two aces and three blocks. Shaughnessy scored 27 assists.
On Tuesday, the Jimmies will play Hastings and Ottawa (KS) in Hastings, Nebraska.
