VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 89th Annual North Dakota Winter Show runs March 4th through March 7th in Valley City.

The vendor show opens daily at 9am, entry into the Winter Show is free.

It’s all about horses on Thursday, March 5th with horse team events starting at 8am, pony pull at 12:30pm, draft horse pull at 2pm, and Ranch Rodeo at 6:30pm in the main arena. All horse shows are Ticketed Events. Wheels of Agriculture Game Show 11:15am, 3:15pm, and 5:15pm. NDWS Luncheon on Thursday, March 5th at the North 9 in the Valley City Town and Country Club, at 11:30am. Live music in the Gold Buckle Pub 4pm to 6pm featuring Chloe Raye and again from 9pm to 10pm.

On Friday, March 6th, the Queen contest horsemanship 8am in the main arena. Hippology contest south exhibit building and barn for judging 10am. 3rd annual pie contest at 12:30pm. PRCA Rodeo Slack 1pm Main Arena. The Bid Call Auctioneer’s Contest/King of the Sales Ring at 2pm on the Ag Country Stage Show in the south exhibit building. PRCA Rodeo starts at 7pm Military night (Ticketed Event.) Wheels of Agriculture Game Show 11:15am, 3:15pm, and 5:15pm. Live music in Gold Buckle Pub 4pm and again at 9pm. The Craft Show and Market at the Armory 10am to 5pm.

On Saturday, March 7th, the Junior Cattle Show starts at 9am in the main arena. Pageant, speeches, interviews on Ag Country Stage at 9am. Wheels of Agriculture Game Show 10:15am, 3:15pm and 5:15pm. Miss ND Winter Show Queen Coronation at 6:15pm in the Main Arena. Two PRCA Rodeo performances, the first at 2pm Kids Day and the final rodeo at 7pm Make a Wish Night (Ticketed Event.) Live music in Gold Buckle Pub at 9pm. The Craft Show and Market at the Armory 10am to 5pm.
