
Jamestown Jimmies Softball continues to win, and does so in different ways.
The Jimmies have now won six straight after wins Thursday over Holy Family 3-1 and Salem 15-1 at the Space Coast Spring Games.

At Melbourne, Florida, Jamestown (16-4) rallied from a run down with three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
All those runs came on one play. Trinity Gregg brought in Amanda Burch and Sonya Rodgers with a triple, then Gregg scored herself on an error.
Aubrey Quern (5-0) was excellent again in the circle, giving up just one run and three hits in six innings, striking out 10. Abby Blair pitched a perfect seventh inning for her second save.

At Cocoa Beach, Florida, the Jimmies (17-4) collected 12 hits and took advantage of four errors. Kylie Yanzuk had a two-run single and a sacrifice fly. Natalie Draper also drove in three runs with two singles.
Jorja Hainsworth hit her second home run of the season. Trinity Gregg, Maddie Spaeth, Hope Ransome, Tori Olson and Rodgers also drove in a run each.
Meanwhile, Ransome (5-3) and Maddie Hairgrove combined on a one-hitter. Ransome worked the first four innings, striking out three.
On Friday, the Jimmies will play their final two Space Coast Spring Games and their final two non-conference games against Ursuline and Walsh.
