
NORTH LIBERTY, IA – Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Wrestling fared very well Thursday in the inaugural USA Wrestling Women’s Collegiate Club Nationals at The Palestra. Emily Novak won in the 180-pound weight class. The Jimmies were fourth overall with 76 points and had seven individual place winners.
Novak won all three of her matches by pins, and none by longer than 1:27.
Nora Houglum was second at 131 pounds and won by technical fall over teammate Abby Ewing, who took third. Houglum had earlier won twice by technical fall and Ewing had two pins.
Celia Jaeger was third at 180 pounds. Ann Marie Meiman (145) and Leah Williard (160) took fourth-place finishes. Kiera Hagman was sixth at 124.
