no-kings

Alan Adams, his wife and others in Valley City

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One of the largest nationwide “No Kings” protest is set for Saturday, March 28th.

Co-event coordinator Alan Adams said as Donald Trump continues to disregard Supreme Court rulings, bypass Congress on spending and authority, and govern in a king-like fashion, Americans are standing together to defend democracy. These rallies rise in response to ongoing attacks on our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, immigrant communities, and the rule of law itself.

Adams said our second rally (Jan. 20th) showed peaceful solidarity with Minnesota and immigrant communities nationwide, opposing secretive police enforcement abuses and violations of basic constitutional rights.

Now, the third protest expands the call:

  • Uphold the Constitution and the authority of Congress > No Voter Suppression >No Unapproved Global Tariffs>No Press Restrictions

  • Defend civil liberties and our communities > ABOLISH ICE NOW

  • Demand full transparency, including the release of the covered-up names in the Epstein files
  • Oppose reckless, undeclared military actions abroad> Out of Iran
  • Hold leaders accountable for broken promises on Affordability and Healthcare

This is a pivotal moment. Democracy does not defend itself — we do.

Join us at Veterans Memorial Park Valley City Corner of Central & W. Main St. Saturday, March 28 | Noon–12:30 PM

Show up. Stand firm. No kings — only the Constitution.
Rallies are also set in Jamestown and in Fargo. Peaceful, Non-Violent, bring signs and some signs provided by rally attendees. Please don’t bring any firearms to any of these peaceful rallies.
