JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – The Jamestown Motor Vehicle Office will close temporarily March 12 & 13 as it relocates to a larger space.

The office is operated locally through the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce under contract with the North Dakota Department of Transportation. The short closure will allow staff to safely move equipment, files, and service counters into the new location. This new space will improve workflow and provide a better experience for customers in Jamestown and the surrounding region.

During the move, there will be no appointments or walk ins available. Motor Vehicle services in Jamestown are expected to resume Monday, March 16.

Residents who need immediate assistance during the closure are encouraged to: Schedule an appointment at another branch location, Renew registrations online, Use the self service kiosk at Jamestown Cash Wise Foods (410 10th St SE)

The Jamestown office provides a wide range of services including title transfers, duplicate titles, registration renewals, specialty plate orders, duplicate plates and registrations, mobility placards, and ATV and snowmobile registration.
