HENDERSON, NV – 2026 spring golf began for the Jamestown Jimmies with lower-half top 10 finishes at the Warrior Invitational, hosted by Winona State, at The Legacy Golf Club.

Jamestown’s women finished 10th with a three-round total of +247 (1,111).  Celi Nelson was best individually, taking 14th at +25 (241).  Nelson’s best round was 77 in the second round.  Ellie Garavaglia finished 44th at +52 (268).  Kacie Rexin shot +55 (271) to finish 46th.  Lyla McCasson finished at +115 (331).

UJ’s men were ninth at +85 (949).  Cole Campbell was best in contributing to team scoring for the Jimmies, taking 30th at +17 (233).  Campbell shot 75 on Thursday, including 34 on the front nine.   Aidan Hall was 36th at +23 (239), Bodie Williams tied for 37th at +24 (240) and Mac Maluski was 41st at +25 (241).

Porter Seidel’s score didn’t count toward the team total for the Jimmies, but he finished 19th at +10 (226).  Seidel shot an even par 72 in the second round.  Also, Gavin Kinsey finished 51st at +40 (256), Sam Boser tied for 53rd with +45 (261) and Grant Bestland was 56th at +59 (275).

UJ will play next in the Augustana Spring Invitational April  6 & 7 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
