JAMESTOWN, N.D. (TRAC) – The Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC), operated by the Jamestown Parks and Recreation District, is pleased to announce the hiring of two new leadership team members: Arin Oster as Aquatics Supervisor and Jordan Padilla as Wellness Programs Supervisor.
Both roles are vital to advancing TRAC’s mission of promoting healthy lifestyles and providing high-quality recreation and wellness opportunities for the Jamestown community.
Aquatics Supervisor – Arin Oster, originally from Minot, joined TRAC after attending the University of Jamestown,
where she played soccer and developed a strong passion for health and fitness. She will graduate with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing her MBA. Arin brings a diverse background in strength and conditioning, personal training, and athletic performance. She holds a personal training certification and has experience programming and coaching college teams in the weight room. Her professional experience includes internships with Sanford Performance, the University of Jamestown Strength and Conditioning program, and TRAC. Before stepping into the Aquatics Supervisor role, Arin spent two years working at TRAC in a variety of positions, gaining firsthand knowledge of the facility and its programming. In her new role, Arin will oversee the vision, development, and daily operations of TRAC’s aquatics programming. Her responsibilities include ensuring a safe aquatic environment, supervising lifeguards and aquatic instructors, coordinating water exercise programming, maintaining safety standards, and working closely with maintenance and facility leadership to ensure pools and spa areas operate within health guidelines.
Wellness Programs Supervisor – Jordan Padilla, originally from Kirkland, WA, first came to Jamestown after being recruited by Boya Quichocho to play baseball at the University of Jamestown. During his time there, Jordan completed his Exercise Science internship under Quichocho, focusing on speed and agility training for college athletes. He later coached alongside him and now continues that professional connection through his work at TRAC. Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from UJ and brings more than a decade of fitness industry experience. He spent six years as a personal trainer before serving nearly six years as a General Manager at a fitness facility. As Wellness Programs Supervisor, Jordan will oversee TRAC’s wellness initiatives, including group exercise programming, personal training services, and wellness floor operations. He will lead the team of group fitness instructors, personal trainers, and wellness attendants while helping members achieve their health and fitness goals through coaching, education, and supportive programming. Jordan will also collaborate closely with the Aquatics Supervisor to coordinate water exercise programming and ensure TRAC continues to provide a wide variety of wellness opportunities for members.
“Arin and Jordan both bring tremendous knowledge and passion for fitness and community wellness,” said Facilities Manager Boya Quichocho. “I’ve had the opportunity to see Jordan grow from a student-athlete to a coach and now a professional in the industry, and Arin has already shown strong leadership through her work at TRAC. I’m excited to see the impact they will make in these roles.”
Jamestown Parks and Recreation welcomes both leaders and looks forward to the positive impact they will bring to TRAC members and the broader Jamestown community.
