VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fire crews responded to a call of a semi trailer on fire in the Love’s parking lot around 6:49am on Tuesday, March 17th.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said when crews arrived on the scene they found that a brake on the trailer was on fire and that the driver knocked the flames down with his extinguisher.

He said once crews arrived on the scene they used water to cool down the wheel area and checked the cargo bay of the trailer and found no fire inside the trailer.

The driver of the FedEx truck said nothing hazardous was found inside the trailer. No injuries were reported.
