JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Arts Center) – The Jamestown Fine Arts Association (The Arts Center) is proud to celebrate “Arts in Our Schools Month” by hosting a K–12 student exhibition showcasing the creativity and talent of young artists from across the region.

The exhibition will feature artwork from students in Jamestown and Pingree, with more than 700 pieces on display. The show will be open to the public at The Arts Center from March 17 through April 11, 2026.

A special public open house will be held on Thursday, March 26, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., offering the community an opportunity to view the exhibition, celebrate student achievement, and support arts education.

This annual exhibition highlights the importance of the arts in education and provides students with the opportunity to share their work in a professional gallery setting. From drawing and painting to mixed media and more, the exhibit reflects the diverse talents and perspectives of K–12 students throughout the area.

“Seeing over 700 works of art from students across our region is incredibly inspiring,” said Cole Carpenter, Education and Exhibitions Director at the Jamestown Fine Arts Association. “This exhibition not only celebrates their creativity, but also highlights the vital role arts education plays in helping express themselves, build confidence, and celebrate all people within their community.”

“Arts in Our Schools Month is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the impact of arts education and celebrate the creativity of our students,” said Mindi Schmitz, Executive Director of the Jamestown Fine Arts Association. “We are proud to provide a space where young artists can share their work with the community.”

The exhibition and open house are free and open to the public.
