BISMARCK – Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Track & Field finished sixth of six teams Tuesday in the season’s first event, the WDA Boys Indoor Invite at the University of Mary Fieldhouse and Wellness Center.

Jamestown finished with 37 points.  Century won the event with 122.

The Blue Jays had two second-place finishes.  Aiden Skari ran 23.48 for second in the 200 meters.  Heath Heupel was second in the 400 meters in 52.82.  JHS was third in the 4×200 relay at 1:37.31 from Ryker Stoddart, Levi Trevithick, Skari and Gradin Thorlakson.  In the shot put, Cody Berreth took third with a best of 50 feet, four inches.  Cole Anderson cleared nine feet to take fourth in the pole vault.

Jamestown’s girls will compete in the WDA Girls Indoor Invite on Thursday.
