Minot, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The MPB Thunder fell in the 3rd place game against the Ray Jays with a final score of 77-69.

The game started out slow for MPB as they couldn’t get anything going at first as Ray would quickly take a 22-11 lead. They would build that lead out to a 50-33 lead as they kept getting sent to the line as MPB found themselves in foul trouble all game long. The Jays would end up scoring 21 points on the game from the line.

The Thunder would come out firing to start the half and take the lead from 17 down to 7 before the Jays would bounce back and bounce back to build the lead back to double digits with a 67-42 lead after 3 quarters of play. They Jays would then ward off any potential comeback as they would hold on to win the game 77-69.

The Thunder end the season with a 4th place finish and a 22-6 record.
