FARGO – Jamestown Blue Jays Track & Field took part in the Class A Indoor Track & Field meet Friday at NDSU’s Shelly Ellig Indoor Track and Field Facility.  JHS’ girls were 13th with 12 points and the boys were 12th with 17 points.

Layna Hoffer gave Jamestown its lone win, taking the girls high jump with a best of five feet, five inches.  Hayden Olson finished seventh in the triple jump at 33 feet, one inch.

Jamestown’s 4×400 relay team gave the Blue Jay boys their best finish at second.  Gradin Thorlakson, Heath Heupel, Jared Sagaser and Aiden Skari ran in 3:34.31.

Heupel was fourth in the 400 meters at 52.37.  Cody Berreth was fifth in the shot put with 52 feet, 10 inches.

The Blue Jays’ first outdoor meet will be the Bismarck Invite Thursday at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.
