
ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two juveniles suffered serious injuries following a two vehicle crash on Wednesday, April 1 at approximately 6:17 a.m. in the 100 block of 1st St. N.W. Ellendale.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a Chevy Silverado driven by a 35-year-old Jamestown man traveling west on Highway 11 rear ended a 2007 Peterbilt pulling a side dump trailer driven by a 58-year-old man from Kulm.
The pickup was occupied by a driver and three passengers. Two passengers were not wearing seat belts and sustained serious injuries from the crash. The passengers, both juveniles, were transported by ambulance to the Avera Hospital in Aberdeen, SD. The driver of the semi and the driver and front seat passenger of the Chevy were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation with the North Dakota State Patrol.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Dickey County Sheriff’s Office, Ellendale Fire and Ellendale Ambulance all responded to the call for service in Ellendale.
