JAMESTOWN – Aleah Gibbons scored twice in the second half Tuesday in a 2-1 win for Minot over Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Soccer at Rotary Field.

A four-match winning streak ended for Jamestown (4-4-1, 4-3-1 WDA).

Amelia Newman scored in the second minute of the match for the home team, set up by Layla Becker.

Gibbons’ goals for Minot (7-1-1, 7-1-1) came in the 59th and 68th minutes.

Belle Sjostrom made nine saves in goal for Jamestown.  Minot had 11 shots on net to six for Jamestown.

Jamestown will host Bismarck Friday at 7:00 PM at Rotary Field.
