JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Starting on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, there will be road closures and water outages for utility repairs in the following locations:
400 to 500 block of 2nd St SW, the 200 to 300 block of 5th Ave SW & 6th Ave SW, and the 400 to 500 block of 3rd St SW & 4th St SW. These closures and water outages will begin at approximately 8:30 AM and continue until completed (approximately 5:00 PM). This schedule is contingent upon the weather and changing conditions. Anyone with questions regarding the water outage, please call the City Water Plant at 701- 252-5131.

Meanwhile on Thursday, May 28th, 2026; there will be a road closure on 1st Ave N, from 6th St to 7th St for utility work. This closure will begin at approximately 8:00 AM and continue until finished.

Motorists should use caution in this area and take alternate routes during this time, if possible.
