
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The preliminary hearing for 65-year-old Nancy J. Trottier charged with murder has been pushed back from May 21st to August 13th. She is facing a Double A Charge of murder before 1995.
Investigators got a break in a 45-year-old case involving the death of a baby found near the Valley City State University campus in April of 1981.
Trottier remains in the Stutsman County Correctional Center in Jamestown. Judge Nicholas Thornton set Trottier’s bail at $2-million-dollars surety bond or $750,000 in cash on April 13th. Her next court appearance is now set for August 13th at 1pm in the Barnes County Courthouse.
